KPMG and Microsoft have expanded their global partnership to reshape professional services across various areas, including workforce modernisation, secure development, and AI solutions. The collaboration involves a multibillion-dollar commitment from KPMG in Microsoft Cloud and AI services over the next five years, potentially unlocking over $12 billion in growth opportunities for KPMG.
The partnership aims to enhance client engagements, empower KPMG’s global workforce of 265,000 professionals, and address the evolving AI landscape. Key focus areas include audit, tax, advisory, and ESG agendas. The collaboration will drive innovation, profitability, and sustainability while contributing to social impact initiatives such as education and carbon accounting reliability.

On the other hand, Salesforce will increase list prices by an average of 9% across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Industries, and Tableau in August. This is the first price increase in seven years, following 22 new releases, thousands of features, and over $20 billion invested in research and development. Salesforce leads in providing trusted generative AI solutions for businesses globally.
The new list prices, effective August 2023, include $80 USD for Professional Edition (up $5), $165 USD for Enterprise Edition (up $15), and $330 USD for Unlimited Edition (up $30). Similar adjustments will apply to Industries, Marketing Cloud Engagement and Account Engagement, CRM Analytics, and Tableau.
