To create a single experience for managing to-dos across Google, a few months ago, Google announced migrating Reminders from Google Calendar and Google Assistant to Google Tasks says – Vox360
Goolge understood that many things could be improved in the stand-alone Google Tasks, like not showing up Assistance reminders.
With the new Task features, users can manage tasks from Calendar using the hands-free power of Assistant, in the same way they created Reminders. Additionally, they can create tasks from other Google Workspace apps like Gmail, Docs and Chat or directly from the Tasks app.
To enjoy the new feature, you must be a Google Workspace customer with the Tasks service ON in your organization, and your end users can voluntarily migrate beginning April 12, 2023. As per Google, this migration prompt will appear for users with personal accounts starting on March 6, 202 and May 22, 2023; Assistant and Calendar Reminders will automatically migrate to Tasks for users that have yet to migrate on an updated basis.
Why is it so cool to use it?
Once the migration is concluded, you can view and manage all your to-dos in one place: Tasks. You’ll be able to leverage features in Tasks, such as organizing to-dos with multiple lists and adding descriptions for extra organization. You can access tasks on the web in Google Workspace apps like Gmail, Calendar, Docs and Chat without the need to switch tabs or apps and can create tasks directly from Assistance.
You can get more detailed solutions and services from authorized service providers like Vox360 Ways to experience these highly productive features of Google.
Yes, it sounds like Google is heading to an AI-based Project Management tool! 😉
